Ackreds-Art Visit Website
Artist William Ackred was looking for an outlet to sell his paintings online for charity. He professes not to be a pro, just a happy amateur. The website offers the ability to create different categories for his Watercolour Paintings page as well as upload his artwork into those categories and write the details, such as price and dimensions. This also includes the management of his Saucy Postcards page. Payment is received through his paypal account.
CareConnect Visit Website
This London based public organisation were looking to improve
their management abilities with a new website. Christine,
manager for CareConnect wished to get more out of the new website and
although their current website had the abilities to edit pages and latest news areas the staff were expected to
add new details within existing HTML.
On their new website they manage a
News/Events & Publications area,
Calendar and
Gallery.
The website also has as a
Services Database with local public
organisations in a variety of specialist fields. This is fully
managable by the CareConnect team and it has been mentioned that
it has reduced the amount of telephone calls regarding these queries
allowing staff to put their efforts into other areas.
Danny Wild
70's Rockabilly star Danny Wild was looking for a website to
keep his local fans informed with his more recent activities
across the UK and parts of Europe as well as the re-issue of
his album “Wild in the Country” onto CD.
This website is managed by me when required as part of a
customer service package as this is Danny's preferred way.
Down To Earth Visit Website
Steve of La Gauterie, France was looking for a way to intise more customers in his local area looking for Construction, Driveways, Fosse Septique, Patios and Swimming Pools. The website offers a photo upload feature that allows Steve to build a variety of galleries for each field he specialises in showing his past projects. I offer basic support for this site but the regularly updated parts of the site are managed by steve at his leisure.
Sensory Arts Visit Website
Elizabeth, specialist in Animation production workshops,
wanted a website to gain new interest in her work and join
workshops that demonstrate many aspects of the animation
filming process.
Using images from Elizabeth's handy work I turned her own design
into a Website (including hosting) and includes information about
her background, workshops and a gallery of work as well as a blog
link to keep users up to date with whats happening.
The blog is managed at blogger.com.
Radio-Lonsdale Visit Website
Barrow-in-Furness based, Furness General hospital radio at
it's peak was one of the top hospital radio stations in the UK.
It has more recently been in decline due to lack of volunteers
but it has recently been going from strength to strength and is
on the up with it's new bout of volunteers looking to get stuck
in and get it back to the top.
It's new website includes an online request form, a schedule and
the ability for users wishing to become volunteers to fill in an
application form online for consideration. The website also
includes a volunteer profiles page.
The new website is looking to keep family and friends in better
contact with the patients of Furness general.
Many aspects of this site are managed by Radio Lonsdale as well as
support from RedRobinDesignUK.
MyColouringBook Visit Website
With the aim to provide more outlets and sales potential in selling Digital Paintings in A5, A4, A3 and some in download form, MyColouringBook.co.uk was created. With the ability to manage the Paintings and Download sections the artists large collection of varied paintings could be made available to a global market. Some SEO concepts were applied to this website including some paid advertising, keyword research, URL Renaming and link exchanges.
